In our office, near the Lloyd Center in NE Portland, we currently have three federally funded projects that focus on evaluating treatment for drug-abusing teens and their families: "AIMS" Project: The purpose of AIMS is to provide and evaluate a treatment program for methamphetamine-using youth, ages 15 to 22. Participants receive between 16 and 32 free outpatient sessions; including family and individual sessions once or twice a week. This project is being conducted in partnership with Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). This project is also taking place in Roseburg at Adapt. They can be reached at (541) 672-2691.
