Behavioral science research is the systematic study of human behavior.
Oregon Research Institute scientists study human behavior to learn why
people behave the way they do and to develop programs to help people
lead healthier lives.
Since 1960, ORI scientists have made significant contributions to understanding
the causes, prevention, and treatment of social and medical problems
in areas such as physical activity, adolescent substance use, tobacco
use prevention and cessation, adolescent depression, and managing chronic
illness. |
