An employee since 2002, Berry works on our tobacco cessation and prevention grants. Berry works directly with research participants; work that is critical to the success of a research project. She works on the ‘frontline’ screening, enrolling, and meeting individually with project participants, following strict protocol. Her comprehensive knowledge of the research and conscientious attention to detail are key in this role. Berry has been an active part of the ORI governance system, most recently as tri-chair of the Science Support Council (SSC) and as an SSC representative to the Human Resources and Advisory Committee. When not at work, Berry enjoys reading, working in the garden, dancing, and getting together with friends and family. She serves on several local committees working on issues of hunger and food insecurity.
