Welcome to Project Milkshake-
The Brain, Food, and Gene Study!

girlsProject Milkshake - The Brain, Food, and Gene Study, is a research study designed to determine whether people are different in the way that their brains respond to food.

As a participant, you will visit our lab either six or seven times over the course of the study (4 years), and you can receive up to $365!  You will complete various tasks, including brain scans, other metabolic tests, interviews, and surveys.  The project is conducted at the Oregon Research Institute under the supervision of Dr. Eric Stice.

This study has a specific pancakesfocus, so there are some eligibility criteria that must be met.  If you are eligible and you decide to participate, please send us the following consent forms. As soon as we receive these forms, we will call you to do a short phone interview to confirm your eligibility. Again, if you are not sure if you are eligible to participate, do not hesitate to contact us. (Please note that some of the eligibility criteria have been recently expanded).
