radKIDS® Personal Empowerment Safety Education Curriculum: A National Leader on School Safety
Monday, Jan. 27, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., 1776 Millrace Drive, Eugene

Children are exposed to crime and violence just as adults are but are additionally impacted by the unique forms of maltreatment specific to childhood, such as child abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, and sibling and peer bullying and assault. The radKIDS educational curriculum focuses on teaching children what they need to know to be safe in their schools, communities, and homes, as well as age-appropriate critical thinking and behavioral skills that can effectively empower children to recognize and avoid violence, abuse, sexual assault, and bullying in their lives.

Educators, Administrators, and Community Members are encouraged to attend. This curriculum fulfills requirements for K-5 Erin's Law, ORS 336.059 and School Victimization Prevention.
