Using Smart Speakers To Teach Positive Parenting

ORI scientists Ed Feil, Ph.D. and Carol W. Metzler, Ph.D. have teamed up with colleagues at Influents Innovations to provide parents of early-to-mid adolescents with guided support for implementing positive parenting strategies that reduce youth problem behaviors.
This technology-based parenting support program, called FamilyNet, is designed to promote parents’ positive parenting practices, which in turn are expected to result in improvements in youth functioning and reductions in behavioral and socioemotional problems, thereby reducing their risk for long-term psychosocial adjustment problems.
This is a subaward with Influents Innovations from the National Institute on Mental Health (NIMH).
