We are now under one roof at 1776 Millrace Drive in Eugene! For ten years, ORI employees in Eugene have been spread across two buildings, which has hampered the researchers’ ability to easily and efficiently conduct science and collaborate with each other. Being in one building will revive the creative synergy and provocative research questions that can occur simply by virtue of being in closer proximity to each other.
At over 10,000 sq. feet, the program space in the new building – the space where the assessments and research activities actually happen - has almost tripled from what we had before. We now have 22 participant interview rooms, several additional labs, control rooms, and program activity spaces. Researchers come from all over the world to study and collaborate with ORI. Our new building has state-of-the-science facilities that provide the precise environment needed for our researchers to conduct their work.
ORI is very proud of the fact that our energy efficient building has earned a LEED Silver rating. Our employees are committed to being good citizens of the Eugene-Springfield community as well as good stewards of the earth.
