Factors Associated with the Course and Outcomes of Alcohol Use Disorders in a Cohort Sample of Adolescents Followed into Early Adulthood

Investigators are examining factors that contribute to the comorbid association between Alcohol Use Disorders (AUD) with non-alcohol Substance Use Disorders (SUDs)

In this secondary analysis research project, the scientists used innovative statistical approaches to identify processes or events that culminate with the comborbity of Alcohol Use Disorders (AUD) with Substance Use Disorders (SUDs) and other psychiatric disorders. Investigators were evaluating the impact that such forms of comorbidity have on the course and outcomes of AUD.
