Dr. Westling is an an early career scientist with experience working on several RO1 and R21 grant projects, as a Project Coordinator, Research Associate, and recently as an Associate Scientist and Co-Investigator (1 R01 DA031724; P.I.: M. J. Mason). Dr. Westling began working at ORI in 1996 as a research assistant in the areas of personality and health. She left in 2001 to pursue her Ph.D. in Social and Health Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles, and returned to ORI as a project coordinator while also finishing her dissertation (supported by a SAMHSA dissertation grant).
