Jason Small's current work focuses on the development of interventions for children experiencing social-emotional difficulties and their families; the evaluation of training and assessment systems; and the use of Motivational Interviewing in school-based settings. His research interests also extend to behavioral screening and progress monitoring; multi-tiered systems of support; the cross-cultural adaptation of measures; and policy and practice issues pertaining to early childhood development and early intervention.
