Schizophrenia Educational Trial

STUDY DETAILS

Researchers at the Oregon Research Institute (ORI) are recruiting for a study evaluating patient knowledge of an alternative to taking pill form medication called Long-Acting Injectable (LAI) medication. The goal is to improve provider and patient knowledge of long-acting injectable medications as an alternative to pill form medication.

ARE YOU:

  • 18 to 65 years old
  • Diagnosed with Schizophrenia
  • Currently taking an oral antipsychotic medication
  • Able to attend outpatient visits or have access to an electronic device to attend visits remotely

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Screen and enroll in the study and receive education about LAI form of medication at a single provider visit 
  • One recorded telehealth video visit (up to 1-2 hour) 
  • You will receive a stipend for your time. 
  • Complete survey about a month after the visit
