Carol Metzler, Science Director

Carol Metzler, Ph.D. is an active ORI Senior Scientist and has been the Institute’s Science Director since 2013.

As Science Director, Dr. Metzler works to strengthen ORI’s science, build strategic partnerships between ORI and other research and practice entities, and ensure that ORI continues to provide a supportive environment for world-class behavioral research.

Chris Arthun, Director of Finance & Administration

Chris Arthun, M.Ed, has been ORI’s Director of Finance and Administration since 2018. He ensures that the Admin departments supporting science are running efficiently. Mr. Arthun oversees organizational operations and supervises the 20+ administrative employees who manage finances, support technology, support proposal submission and manage grants, oversee human resources, and keep the doors open and the lights on.
