Make a Difference: Participate in Research

By participating in a study at Oregon Research Institute, you can help advance our understanding of human behavior and contribute to discoveries that benefit society. ORI currently offers several exciting opportunities for individuals to get involved, including:

  • 7th & 8th Grade Students: Test a dental health computer program available in both Spanish and English.
  • High School Students: Join a study on emotions and their influence on friendships.
  • Teens (Ages 12-17): Help evaluate a new health resource app designed to help teens understand themselves better and address challenges.
  • Adults (65+ Years): Participate in free online exercise classes to assess the effects of various types of exercise, including tai chi.
As a participant, you can be assured that all studies at ORI are reviewed by our Institutional Review Board (IRB) to ensure that they meet strict ethical standards and protect participants’ rights and well-being.
