Marie Boman-Davis, Associate Scientist

Dr. Boman-Davis is an early stage investigator who earned a PhD in Public Health with a focus on Health Behavior, and a Master of Public Health in Health Promotion. She has a vast array of research experiences including behavioral epidemiology, clinical trials, observational studies, and biomarkers associated with novel and traditional tobacco including secondhand and thirdhand smoke.

Dr. Boman-Davis’s contributions to research included the design and analyses of various types of assessments, including self-report surveys (e.g., web survey, computer-assisted self-interview); objective environmental measurements (e.g., nicotine surface wipes) and biological measures (e.g., urine cotinine). Research participants have included marginalized populations (e.g., low-income, sexual minority, food insecure), traditional populations (e.g., college students) and used both cross-sectional and cohort designs.
