Fostering Educational Success: Engaging Families, Empowering Youth

Nearly half of students involved in the foster care system will fail to graduate high school with their peers. ORI investigators are examining the ability of the Fostering Educational Success (FES) program to improve the educational outcomes of secondary students (grades 6-12) involved in foster care.

FES is an evidence-based 12-month home-school support program designed to improve the educational outcomes of middle and high school students preparing to reunify with their parents after foster care.
