Jeff Gau, Associate Scientist

Jeff Gau, M.S., Associate Scientist and senior data analyst, began work at ORI in 1993 as a research programmer for the Depression Research Group, primarily working on research projects associated with the longitudinal Oregon Adolescent Depression Project (OADP). A co-investigator on a recently funded grant from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), Jeff has extensive experience in the analysis of prospective data in the context of epidemiological studies, quasi-experimental designs, randomized clinical trials, and group randomized clinical trials. Most recently, Jeff has expanded his analytic skills to include program evaluation with local and state agencies.
