Derek Kosty, Associate Scientist
Derek Kosty, Ph.D., is an Associate Scientist at ORI and an Assistant Research Professor at the Prevention Science Institute at the University of Oregon. His research focuses on patterns of substance use and psychiatric comorbidity, the effects of academic and behavioral interventions, and applied quantitative research methods. His methodological expertise includes group- and single-case designs, advanced statistical modeling of longitudinal and multilevel data, and structural equation modeling with latent variables. He has served as a methodologist on more than 20 research projects funded by the Department of Education, the National Institutes of Health, and the National Science Foundation.
