Research scientists developed training tools to prepare Head Start parent educators to use BeReady2Smile in both parenting group and home visit settings. BeReady2Smile is an effective program that helps parents to use fun ways to teach young children how to brush their teeth. The long-term goal of the program was to help parents provide the foundation for a lifetime free from preventable oral disease.
