Jeanette Ricci, Ph.D.

Jeanette Ricci, Associate Scientist

Jeanette Ricci’s major area of research during her doctoral studies included understanding children’s perceptual and physiological responses to fitness- and skill-based high-intensity interval exercise, an engaging and time-efficient strategy for youth to obtain physical activity and improve their health. Her general research interests include establishing novel ways for youth to obtain physical activity, both in school and in community-based settings such as creating successful physical education programs or after-school physical activity clubs. She strongly believes in the importance of promoting the health and wellness of school children, including providing physical activity and nutrition resources.
