Jason Small’s current work focuses on the development of interventions for children experiencing social-emotional difficulties and their families, the evaluation of training and assessment systems, and the use of Motivational Interviewing in school-based settings. His research interests also extend to behavioral screening and progress monitoring, multi-tiered systems of support; the cross-cultural adaptation of measures, and policy and practice issues pertaining to early childhood development and early intervention.
