Transforming Adolescent Mental Health through Accessible, Scalable, Technology-Supported Small-Group Instruction
This is a subaward with the University of Oregon

Cooperative learning (CL) is an instructional strategy where small groups of students work together on a common assignment. Students can work collaboratively on a variety of problems, ranging from simple math problems to large projects that may take several months. This instructional model promotes individual and group interaction, interdependence, group accountability, and enhances the interpersonal, social, and collaborative skills needed to work with others.

Investigators are studying the effectiveness of a CL software tool called PeerLearning.net in 24 high schoolclassrooms in Wisconsin, Arizona, and Oregon.
