Support2QuitVaping study is recruiting participants

Study Details

Oregon Research Institute is testing a new program to help adults ages 18-25 stop vaping by using a new vaping cessation app called Support2QuitVaping. Your participation will help us improve the app and make it more effective in supporting others on their journey to quit vaping. This study is being conducted by Dana Smith, Ph.D. and Herb Severson, Ph.D. and is funded by Oregon Research Institute.

ARE YOU:

  • 18 to 25 years old
  • A daily vaper of nicotine
  • Wanting to quit vaping

EVERYONE WHO TAKES PART IN THE STUDY WILL:

  • Complete 2 short surveys over a period of 4-5 weeks
  • Use an app daily for a 25-day program that is designed to help you stop vaping
  • Be willing to participant in an online support group through the app of 6-8 people
  • Provide feedback about using the app
  • Receive $100 for completing all study activities
