Margot Bastin, Associate Scientist
Margot Bastin is an Associate Scientist at ORI. After obtaining her Ph.D. at KU Leuven, Belgium, she moved to Oregon in 2021. Her main research interests include 1) adolescent depression; 2) friendship processes; 3) online and offline communication; and 4) intrapersonal response styles, which she studies using both short-and long-term longitudinal designs. More recently, her research domain expanded to include the study of maternal depression and interventions to promote mental well–being.
